There's something inherently funny about a flamingo. Add a live plant where its head feathers should be, and it gets better.
Each of these ceramic flamingos stands about 4 inches tall and wears a small Tillandsia mounted right on top of its head. Air plants are epiphytes—they grow without soil and pull moisture from the air through their leaves—so the plant just sits there happily, doing its thing, no pot required. The result looks less like a planter and more like the flamingo simply woke up with excellent hair.
Three poses, three personalities:
· The Shrug — wings up, touching its own head. Looks mildly concerned about something.
· The Display — wings spread out to the sides and angled slightly down. Showing off. Deserves it.
· The Diplomat — wings folded neatly across the chest, tips meeting in the middle. Very composed. Probably runs something.
Set all three together and they read as a small committee. The Dipping Flamingo lawn ornament tradition goes back generations—this is the indoor, tabletop, actually-alive version of that same impulse.

Good to Know:
· The air plant varies. Each flamingo ships with a small Tillandsia chosen by our grower. It may not match the photos exactly, but it'll always be a small one scaled to fit the bird.
· Hand-painted, so slightly imperfect. Minor variation in finish and paint is normal and part of the appeal.
· The plant is alive. Tillandsias bloom once, then produce "pups" (offsets) before the original plant gradually winds down. That's normal. The pups can be pulled off and mounted somewhere new whenever you like—including on another flamingo.
· The mount is permanent-ish. The plant is attached to the head. To water it, hold the whole flamingo and dunk just the plant, or mist in place and let it dry fully before setting it back down.
Caring for the Air Plant:
Provide bright, indirect light. A spot near a sunny window but out of harsh direct rays is ideal. Avoid direct afternoon sun, which can scorch the air plant's leaves. Misting method: Mist thoroughly 2–3 times per week. Never allow water to pool in the base of the plant as this will cause rot. Always let the plant dry completely after watering.
