Let's be honest about what this is: a French bulldog, in ceramic, in a Santa hat, with a plant growing out of its back.
These are three-inch ceramic Frenchies with a fair amount of detail for the size—wrinkled brow, bat ears, a silver collar with a bone-shaped tag worked into the ceramic. Each one carries a small grower's-choice Tillandsia mounted along its back, and each is topped with a Santa hat that has been glued in place. That last part is worth saying plainly: the hat is permanent. You cannot take it off and pretend this is an ordinary dog in July. You can decide that's a limitation, or you can decide it's the entire point.
The two dogs:
• The White One — standing, upright, alert. Looks like it has somewhere to be. Plant mounted along the back.
• The Black One — sitting, settled, patient. Looks like it has nowhere to be and is fine with that. Plant mounted along the back.
The silver collar and bone tag read clearly against both finishes, and the contrast between the white and black ceramic makes them look like a matched pair rather than two of the same thing.
Care Instructions:
Bright, indirect light. Near a sunny window but out of harsh direct rays. Direct afternoon sun will scorch the plant's leaves and can fade the ceramic over time.
Watering—two options:
• Dunk: Hold the dog and submerge just the plant in room-temperature water for 15–20 minutes every 1–2 weeks. Shake off the excess, set the figure somewhere to drain, and let the plant dry completely—ideally upside down or tilted—before returning it to its spot.
• Mist: A thorough misting 2–3 times per week, with the same rule about drying fully.
