Mini Neoregelia 'Alpine Rose' (N. 'Meyendorffii' x N. chlorosticta 'Marble Throat')

Mini Neoregelia 'Alpine Rose' is a hybrid bromeliad valued for its unique foliage, which blues a vivid pinkish-red when in bloom. It was officially registered in 1989 by R. Spivey as a cross from Neoregelia 'Meyendorffii' by Neoregelia chlorosticta 'Marble Throat'. 

 Key Features

• Size: A compact grower, maturing at about 11 inches across with leaves up to 9 inches long. The spread is typically 8 to 12 inches.
  
• Foliage: Dark green base with a unique mottled pattern of lime green and cream. The tips are blunt and pointed. The plant "flushes" with the heaviest color concentration in the center when it blooms
  
• A small-sized variety, perfect houseplants and vivariums
  

Care:

• Bright, indirect light to maintain intense coloration (south-facing windows are ideal)
  
• Keep central cup filled with fresh water, changing regularly
• High humidity (40-80%) to mimic natural epiphytic conditions
• Minimal fertilization to preserve compact growth and color intensity
