Mini Neoregelia 'Spooky' was registered in 1998 by M. Patterson and is a bromeliad cross between Neoregelia lilliputiana and Neoregelia 'Midnight'.

 Key Features

• Size: Likely inherits the compact size of lilliputiana with the dark, moody foliage of 'Midnight' (deep burgundy/purple)
  
• Foliage: Deep burgundy, plum, or near-black base color sometimes with fine speckling or spotting, narrow, pointed, and somewhat grassy or strap-like
