Neoregelia 'Calypso'

Neoregelia 'Calypso' is a hybrid bromeliad known for its impressive size and vibrant, sun-tolerant foliage. Hybridized by J. Elmore in Florida, it is a cross between Neoregelia 'Sun King' and Neoregelia 'Catherine Wilson'. 

• Large rosette form that can reach nearly 3 feet across
  
• Leaves are apple-green with red mottling, reddish bases, and prominent red tips
  
• Noted for its ability to adapt to full sun conditions 
  
• Unlike many other Neoregelia, 'Calypso' is noted for producing red berries after flowering

Care:

• Bright, indirect light to maintain intense coloration
• Keep central cup filled with fresh water, changing regularly
• High humidity (60-80%) to mimic natural epiphytic conditions
• Minimal fertilization to preserve compact growth and color intensity
