Care Instructions

Light:
Provide full sun to bright, direct light for at least 6 hours daily. 12-14 hours of bright light is ideal for robust growth.

Water:
Use only purified water such as distilled, rainwater, or reverse osmosis water. Keep the soil constantly moist using the tray method – sit the pot in a saucer with about 1 inch of water. Never allow the soil to dry out completely.

Dormancy (Winter Rest):
This plant requires a winter dormancy period. ‘White Wizard’ typically goes dormant later in the year, around December. During dormancy, growth will slow and pitchers may die back – this is perfectly normal and healthy. Keep the soil slightly damp but not as wet as during the growing season. Trim dead pitchers in early spring as new growth begins.

Feeding:
Do not fertilize. Your ‘White Wizard’ obtains all its nutrients from captured insects. If kept indoors, you can supplement by placing a small insect into an open pitcher every few weeks.
