A rare, slow-growing, and highly silvery-grey air plant endemic to Mexico, Tillandsia mauryana thrives on steep limestone rock faces in arid, high-light conditions:
- Foliage: Forms a dense, sphere-shaped rosette of small, compact, and heavily trichomed leaves that grow upright before eventually arching downwards
- Inflorescence: Produces a short flower stalk with bright pink bracts and dark green or sometimes yellowish flowers, usually in the spring or summer
| Size | Inches |
| Medium | 3"-4" |
Key features:
- Plants are endemic Hidalgo, Mexico
- Very slow-growing
- Size: Mature specimens typically reach 15-20cm (6"-8") in height and width.
Care tip: Prefers bright, indirect light with some direct morning sun. Mist or soak 1-2 times per week (more in hot/dry conditions). Ensure leaves dry within a few hours; provide excellent air circulation and warm to intermediate temperatures.
