Add a unique and conversation-worthy specimen to your air plant collection with this unregistered hybrid, a cross between Tillandsia seleriana and Tillandsia delicata. The seleriana parentage is rather dominant in this cross, heavily influencing the plant's shape. It develops into a compact but chunky pseudobulb with a beautiful, sculptural form. The foliage is covered in thick trichomes, giving it a soft, peach-skin-like texture.
The bloom, however, leans towards Tillandsia delicata. In strong light, the upper foliage develops a nice blush, and a short, compound inflorescence emerges with a couple of reddish-pink bracts that barely escape the upper leaves. These are followed by beautiful purple, tubular flowers.

Care Instructions: Provide strong indirect and/or filtered light for optimal growth and to encourage blushing in the upper foliage. Mist thoroughly or dunk the plant twice a week. Soak monthly for up to 3 hours to rehydrate as necessary. Ensure the plant dries the same day.
