A true showstopper, Tillandsia 'The Ultimate' combines the distinct and fragrant species of Tillandsia duratii with the fragrant, sun-loving Tillandsia crocata species:
Foliage: Grey leaves, more open, "spider-like" formation, mainly inheriting the curling leaf characteristic of T. duratii. Leaves are also narrow and tapering.
Inflorescence: May develop a taller flower spike. Flowers are golden orange with reddish pigmentation
Fragrance: Strong, sweet fragrance inherited from both parents
